About Us
We’re a team of builders, designers, and problem-solvers creating tools that make project management feel effortless.
#Origin
Project management shouldn’t feel like busywork. Too many teams spend hours juggling spreadsheets, switching between Jira, GitHub, Sentry, Slack, and a client status doc that’s always out of date. We built Kavanah as a single workspace where the board, the code, the deploy, the incident, and the client update share one timeline — with AI agents handling the glue work so your team can focus on shipping.

#The Name
כַּוָּנָה
/ka·va·NAH/ · Hebrew
Kavanah is a Hebrew word meaning intention, focus, or directed consciousness. In Jewish thought it describes the inner intention behind an action — the difference between reciting words and meaning them, between performing a ritual and inhabiting it.
The root k-v-n carries the sense of directing, aiming, aligning, and orienting toward something. The Talmud frames prayer without kavanah as a body without a soul. In Kabbalah and Hasidism the idea deepens: every action can carry spiritual intention; consciousness itself shapes outcome.
We chose the name because that’s the bet underneath the product. Project work fails not from lack of tools but from lack of alignment — between people, between intent and action, between the plan and the day. Kavanah is software built to keep teams oriented toward what they actually meant to do.
