Specs into tasks

Hand the AI agent a markdown spec and it writes the plan into the project: tasks with estimates and dependencies that you then edit like any other work. Writing the code itself is a job for a coding agent in your repository; Kavanah keeps the plan, the board and the people in sync with it.

From a spec to a plan

1Open the AI Agent and paste or attach the spec (a PRD, design doc or RFC).
2Ask for a plan in a named project, for example: "Break this into tasks with estimates and dependencies in API Platform."
3The agent creates the tasks, estimates them and links the ones that must finish first. Your workspace charter and action policies apply, as they do to every task the agent creates.
4Review the plan on the board and edit it; re-ask as the spec changes.

The agent never writes code or opens pull requests. Link the pull requests your team (or a coding agent) opens by naming the task in the title or commit message, for example fixes #123.
